Rabbi Schochet moved to Boca, Raton, FL in 2002 along with his wife, Michal, to join the Boca Raton Community Kollel. In 2005, Rabbi Schochet joined the Judaic Studies faculty at Katz Yeshiva High School in Boca Raton where in addition to being a rebbe, he served in numerous administrative roles as well. In 2015, Rabbi Schochet became the Principal of Judaic Studies at the RASG Hebrew Academy of Miami Beach.
Rabbi Schochet graduated with a B.A. in Psychology from Yeshiva University and received his Smicha from Yeshiva University. He holds a Master’s Degree in counseling from Pace University and a certificate in Educational Leadership from Yeshiva University. As the founding Head of School of Hadar, Rabbi Schochet’s insightful classes inspire his students to live passionate Torah lives. His charismatic personality has created enduring relationships with his students.
Rabbi Schochet recently published his first sefer, Timeless Torah: Inspiring Messages From the Parshah.
